Central Lancashire’s very own Prime Pedigree Dog Show
The Pedigree dog section is a Kennel Club licensed show catering for all pedigree breeds. There are almost two hundred classes from Afghans to Whippets, Border terriers to Border collies. The Pedigree dog section remains one of the best supported and popular sections of the show. With many breeds scheduled, some popular ones such as Labradors and Whippets to the rarer ones such as Leonbergers and Glen of Imaal Terriers.
We are honoured this year to have judges coming from as far away as northern Scotland. Exhibitors travel from all over the North of England, North Wales and the Isle of Man to try to win one of our prestigious top awards.
There is plenty for everyone to see and learn. Judging starts at 9.30 with the handling classes. The other rings all start at 10am and carry on throughout the day with the Best In Show award being made around 4pm. Visitors are encouraged to meet and talk to the exhibitors and their dogs.
